Inputs = Outputs; Are You Consistent?

Life is like a boiling pot of water.

The pot is filled with water.

It's smooth as glass initially. Calm.

Then the heat is on and it starts to boil.

Then it starts to boil over.

If removed from the heat, it returns to a calm state.

Put the heat back on and it begins to boil over again.

Then it does boil over and creates a big mess.

The mess dries in the heat, hardens and becomes much more difficult to clean up.

How often is life like this? How often are WE like this?

If that pot were "managed", adjustments could be made to keep it from boiling over and creating a mess.

What if we managed our inputs more consistently? More consciously? Then our outputs might be more consistent.

What you put in determines what comes out.

Fill yourself with the things of God, he will help you rise above the circumstances so that whether the heat is on or not, you are consistent and not wreaking havoc on those around you. :)

Amen! Pray you're well and continually filling yourself with Go(o)d stuff.
