Your Way or His? The HARD road or waiting...

God has a plan for you. You should want his best for your life. Why wouldn't you? And yet how often do we settle? We do it in impatience. In disbelief that he could possibly do better. And then we get frustrated and wonder. Why?

Stay tight with God. Listen to his whispers in your heart as he leads and guides you. Trust in his ways.

You see, you get to choose. You can choose one way and it is a hard road. Imagine traveling across the Appalachian mountains from Tennessee into North Carolina by trail. Now imagine doing that with your spouse and three kids. You have a LOT to deal with. You have to get them fed and sheltered daily, you have to keep them with you and safe. It's isolated and not easy to get to you if you need help and who do you reach out to? It's an isolated area with the occasional other hiker. In addition to all of this, you have God's will to live out in your life...

Now imagine crossing those mountains on the interstate. The road is smoother, it's still steep at times, but now you can push a stroller, it's an easier walk for your family, you have more resources available and other people to lean on because more are walking this road with you - with a similar purpose. And it's easier, more accessible for God to lead you in his will...

Consider the difference between choosing your way and his way. The point is not how easy it is, but how much sense it makes with all that a person has to deal with in life. Why would you purposely make it harder? I bet most wouldn't if they realized what God has in store for them.

Wait on God. He's so good. He knows you so well. And he has a plan JUST for you, using your unique gifts and granting the desires of your heart.

He's not a God of "just enough". He's a God of abundance and overflowing. Hold out for that. Not because you're selfish, but because you want for you, what HE wants for you. Align yourself with Him. It's SUCH a better way.

Be Blessed!!!
