No wonder parents get frustrated when they have to repeat themselves. God has to do it all the time.
(He says Fear Not over 300x in the bible, yet we do; He has tons of parables on money, yet we struggle with that.)
It's disheartening to realize a month or so late that God has been speaking to you and you acknowledged the ideas as your own and then blew them off...
Only to have God bring them back to mind months later AGAIN and this time you realize the Source, that there must be purpose and you need take it more seriously.
How often do we ask God for help or guidance but because it doesn't come in a form you expect... Then you miss it. How sad is that?
When I realized tonight that this had happened, I asked God if it was too late?
He didn't answer, per se, but It dawned on me that this task might have further ramifications than I had originally realized. That it wasn't tied to a project or current deadline, but is intended for longer term purpose that He is trying to work out.
So yes, it's possible that my lack of discipline, willingness & receptiveness, at that time, MIGHT have delayed His purpose...
But He knows ALL things. He knew how long it would take to get through to me. He has a plan to work it out based on that.
God is the Master strategist when it comes to working circumstances here on earth. He is highly efficient & wastes nothing!
So be receptive, be willing, be quick-response" obedient and don't be so quick to write off those ideas going through your head as your own!
God just might be trying to bless you and while not giving you the entire picture, He's giving you the next step.
You don't have to understand how it all connects. Just do it!!!
