How COOL is it that God loves you so much and that He knows you so well...
You Can't Hide from God.
That's as basic as it gets. Even when you lie to yourself, God knows what's going on deep inside. When you do something, HE knows why, even when others are left guessing...
YOU may not even be sure why you did it, but GOD KNOWS.
He gets you, He understands you and accepts you in your most raw form.
Man judges by external behavior... And while the bible says, if you love Jesus, it will show in your actions...
When God is Pursuing You - You may get WORSE
That transition time when God is wooing you, when you are still being a dolt and self-centered...when the Holy Spirit is pursuing you that is when you rebel and get WORSE...
Man can't see what's going on in the heart. That's why we shouldn't judge. Only God knows what is going on inside of a person. Human judgment can hinder God's efforts...
We are to let God handle it and love people where they are at. If you have not experienced that - I genuinely apologize to you. Please know man is not perfect, only God is perfect...put your focus on HIM.
God Knows Your Defense Mechanisms and the REAL YOU
God knows why you're doing what you're doing, He knows your hurts, He knows all of your protective mechanisms. All of the ways you protect the REAL you. The one deep inside that is the core of who you are.
NOT the one everyone else sees or the different sides of you that you choose to show others at different times.
NOT the part of you that is a reaction to and result of all that life has thrown your way...surrounded by walls.
How Well Does God Know You???
Psalm 139 (some of it)
1 O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.
You know everything I do.
4 You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.
5 You go before me and follow me.
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
16 You saw me before I was born.
17 How precious are your thoughts about me.
18 I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up, you are still with me!
Why would you hide from such a pure, unconditional, love... I know why.
The Enemy and his LIES
Consider that there's an enemy that wants you to be so shamed that you could never face your Creator... The enemy is full of lies. And he's real.
God loves you, accepts you and desperately wants you... right now, as you are.
Just ask Him. He's waiting.
"For the word of God is living and powerful,
and sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing even to the division of soul and spirit,
and of joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart.
And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account."Hebrews 4:12, 13 NKJV
