Has God told you to get rid of something? To thin out your life? To declutter in some way? And were you resistant to that guidance?
This could relate to "things", relationships, mindsets and attitudes...
God has a purpose for everything - that you may not be able to "see" in the moment He's asking - but if you obey, then you are opening yourself up for fantastic blessing!

God created us, He created life, so He knows how best to DO life. He knows what's coming, nothing takes Him by surprise. Much like an air traffic controller who can see what's going on on the airfield while the pilot is flying "blind" in the fog... You need to trust God when He gives you guidance.
You see God knows what's coming and He knows what you need to strip out of your life to make room for that next chapter, that next level, that next blessing, that next trial...
God is looking out for your welfare, so when He says to trim down your house, streamline it, it's not for no reason. God is efficient and He uses everything. Don't wait, get on IT!
Use eBay, use Craigslist, have a garage sale, donate it to Goodwill, but get it out of your house.
God may be talking about things, He may be talking about relationships, He may be talking about attitudes...
Your environment directly affects your attitude.
By thinning down your belongings, God can strip off old mindsets because you tend to have attachments to "things". Certain items have memories attached, or they make you feel a certain way, like you have value by owning it, or displaying it...
God wants you to get your identity from Him. He loves you so much!
Things that you own often reflect your past, but He wants to move you into the future. If He's asking you to let go of something, it's because He has something new in the future that He wants you to move into... a new level of thinking... and He KNOWS that in order to accomplish that IN you, your environment needs to change.
One door closes. Another door opens. God is good like that.
