Do YOU have to be tied up???

The purpose of tying a horse is to "keep them in place" while the human performs tasks such as grooming, saddling, etc.

Some think if their horse stands still while tied that it is being obedient and behaving...yet the horse doesn't have "much" choice.

It's not free-choice if he's tied up.
He can't choose to go and it's not his choice to stay.

God has the power to "keep us in place". He COULD do that...but He chooses to give us Free Will.

The best example of free will would be to see someone standing next an untied horse.
In this relationship, the horse and human are in sync and the horse wants what it's "Master" wants. It wants to please. This is not a relationship developed through force.
A horse who is free to leave, yet chooses to stay in place.

God wants you to choose to walk with Him, to hear from Him, for you to wait patiently, having the choice to leave and yet to continue to choose Him. There is no love greater than that freely given.
Do you think a horse ALWAYS understands WHY the human wants to do a particular task?

Do you suppose a horse wonders why the human chose to take a particular route that is more difficult when there was obviously an easier one? Maybe the human chose a steep hill to help the horse develop strength in it's rear end... The horse just presses on (in spite of having quesitons)...it doesn't know this task is to strengthen - all it see's is a steep hill.

Trust God. His ways have purpose. He is good ALL the time!
