God answers Yes, No or Wait. If you haven't heard from Him, then you are likely waiting on His perfect timing. For in our world, timing is everything.
- The bible doesn't say how long it will take God to answer your prayer. 2 Peter 3:8
- The bible DOES say that God hears you. 1 John 5:14-15
- The bible says not to lose heart. Luke 18:1
- You must believe it before you see evidence of it. Mark 11:24; Hebrews 11:1
- You must have faith and you must believe. Hebrews 11:6; Mark 9:23
- You must ask; God won't impose Himself on you. Matt 7:7
- You may not get a response because you ask wrongly. James 4:3
- Or because you doubt or keep changing your mind (double-minded). James 1:6
- Abide in Him (spend time with Him). John 15:7

If He's saying No and is blocking you, it's likely for your protection, don't be offended, He wants what's best for you.
If He says Yes, be thankful and embrace this gift.
Most of all, be aware that God isn't always going to answer in the way that you expect Him to. He works "outside of the box" and He may have answered, but because the answer didn't come in a form you were anticipating, you missed it altogether... And what appears to be unanswered prayer is actually one that you just missed the answer to.
God doesn't answer prayer based on the multiple choice list that you give Him. More often than not, He'll choose "Other" and fill in the blank with something you weren't expecting. Watch for it - He's always working in small and large ways, around you, everyday.
