Life's Great Adventure

Two thoughts for today:
(1)  If your mind is muddled by the burdens of each day, it really is as simple as stopping for a moment, taking a breath and saying:

"God I am yours.  Calm my spirit, body and mind.  I give myself to you.  I give my tasks to you.  I give my concerns to you. Please take over now.  I am running on you now.  In the name of Jesus I claim this to be true.  Amen."
That prayer tells Satan whose you are (when you speak it out loud).  It reminds you of whose you are.  And it can lift you above your circumstances.  Sometimes we just forget...  I'm sorry to say.  And next...

(2) TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF.  If you are a rescuer or a nurturer or a caregiver or a giver and you overdo it.  (Most do.)   Take some unselfish, with no self-condemnation, guilt-free time and do something for you.  Don't think about what anyone else wants, do something for an hour, or an afternoon, or a day, just for you.  It's an investment in your sanity and self-health.  For if you aren't balanced and functioning effectively, then when you breakdown, everyone you've been taking care of will be in shock and go through withdrawal at being cut off so suddenly. LOL!  So take care of you!!!!

Get rejuvenated spiritually, take a few moments to appreciate yourself emotionally, appreciate yourself physically, and intellectually...  Appreciate the person God made in you.  He has a purpose for your life, whether or not you are following that purpose is between you and He.

Your peace of mind should have something to say about that. :)

Have a wonderful day!!!
