You are with yourself daily, so your growth may not be obvious to you. Try using a measuring device against the change you hope to see, then all of a sudden it becomes more tangible. You can see it, touch it, feel it - it becomes more real. Much like the milemarkers that pass as you drive down the interstate. If you never passed a milemarker, you might think you were getting no where!
Spiritual growth is slow and subtle. God hones and molds us, making small tweaks over time (a long time) which evolve into works of art.
One way to see this spiritual growth is to write - choose a few of the following...
Your thoughts, attitudes, reactions to life's situations and what you are learning will begin to come out in your words. If you want to know where you are, start writing.
A year from now, look back and read some of those thoughts.
Over time you will begin to see the difference He is making in you. If not, don't try harder to grow... but seek Him and His presence more.
As you get more of Him, there is less of You, and His reflection begins to shine through.
You'll see it. Trust me.
No, actually.... trust HIM!

- what God is saying to you
- to keep a diary or a blog
- talk about Him
- write about Him
- write what He tells you
- write what you think He's saying
- write down what you think God has shared with you from bible study
- write down what you got out of a sermon, podcast, tweet or someone else's blog
- write down what you are learning from your own life experience
